The Federal Gaming Board
The Federal Gaming Board (FGB) monitors compliance with the legal provisions on games of chance and casinos and is tasked with enforcing these provisions.
Acting as an independent public authority board, the FGB is administratively affiliated to the Federal Department of Justice and Police. The FGB is directly answerable to the Federal Council, to which it reports once a year.
The FGB began its work at the time the Gambling Act took effect on April 1, 2000.
